With great sorrow, we announce the passing of Garry William Grayston of 70 Mile House B.C.
After a short period of illness, Garry passed away at the District General Hospital in 100 Mile House surrounded by his family.
Garry is predeceased by his parents John and Idabel Grayston (nee King). He is survived by his wife Gabriela Grayston (nee Ritter), siblings Harold Norman Grayston (Margaret Lynn), Margaret Nora Alfred, Isobel Gregoire (Al), nieces and nephews Michael Alfred, Rylan Grayston, Janicka Grayston, Nathan Grayston, Nadja Ritter, Alexander Ritter, Lucas Ritter.
Garry will also be missed by his cousins and extended family members. Garry was full of life. He loved his profession and was a fine detail-oriented carpenter.
In his free time, he lived for the outdoors. He loved camping, canoeing, hiking, skiing and biking. Listening to music was a favourite pastime.
Garry enjoyed many trips to Switzerland, England and most of the provinces and territories in Canada, especially the prairies near Brandon where he was born. In 1995 they moved from Brandon, Manitoba to Banff, Alberta and lived in the Bow Valley for 25 Years. In 2021 they moved to the South Cariboo region of British Columbia.
Cremation has already taken place. A private memorial will take place at a later date.
