LETTER: As a Banff resident, I am writing to express my strong support for the Banff Avenue pedestrian zone.

LETTER: What on earth is going on in Alberta? It’s Premier Danielle Smith that is going on – full steam ahead.

LETTER: Transparency there, business speaks and council acts. Residents speak, sorry we didn’t hear that, can you repeat it for us?

LETTER: Like the federal government, it seems our Town council has a bottomless supply of our money to spend on pet projects and when the supply gets low, well, just increase taxes on the elderly and young families who can afford it the least.

LETTER: Well, surprise, surprise, our mayor and council shut down Banff Avenue right on schedule.

LETTER: The proposed upcoming referendum question, however, neatly ignores the fact that, as a corporation, the Town of Banff has flagrantly violated federal law.

LETTER: As Bow Valley residents, you have the power, communally, to resist this false narrative. You can refuse to listen to the Siren’s fatal song and, instead, celebrate stagnation by demanding the end of metastatic growth in your community.

LETTER: Can I afford groceries this week? Can I find somewhere affordable to rent? Can I afford the next property tax increase? What spa will I go to today?

LETTER: What would another spa and hotel, built for wealthy tourists, contribute to our community?
