GROVES, RUTH ANN (nee Martin) Gone too soon. Died peacefully at home surrounded by family and dear friend Heather, after a short but brave battle with liver cancer on Friday, June 07, 2024 at the age of 65. Daughter of deceased parents Vera and Norman Martin. Beloved wife for over 37 years of Ron. Loving and devoted mother of Christopher. Dear sister to Ian Martin (Beth). Daughter in law to Ron (Rosemary) Groves. Sister in law to Carolyn (Scott) and Susan (Bruce) Haug. Proud aunt to Brent (Lindsey), Garrett (Megan) Martin, Ryan (Lina) Langlois, Yvette (Ian) Worley, Daryc (Sara) Langlois. Ruth will be sadly missed by grand nieces and nephews Lilly, Wren, Claire, Maeve, Declan, Parker, Caelan, Sadhbh, Frankie, Thomas and Sofia. Creamation has taken place, and Ruth will remain with Ron. Ruths family would like to thank the compassionate doctors and nurses at Canmore Hospital as well as the caring home care staff from the Bow Valley Primary Care Network. A drop in reception to celebrate Ruths life will be held Sunday, July 07 at the Canmore Golf and Curling Club, Sandtraps, from 1pm to 6pm. Please come prepared to write a short paragraph about Ruth.
