On Friday, July 12, 2024, Trevor Hughes, long-time resident of Canmore passed away at the age of 84 years. Trevor lived in the Bow Valley for over 50 years. He loved biking, X-country skiing and hiking with his wife Helen of 50 years who predeceased him in 2021.
As an avid Ham radio operator for over 60 years Trevor, VE6TL, always enjoyed connecting with people from all over the world. And on cold winter nights he could be found outside looking through his telescope at the latest cosmic event.
Cremation has been completed and, at Trevor’s request, there will be no funeral services held.
The family wish to extend a special thank you to Canmore’s First Responders and to Trevor’s kind neighbours and friends who faithfully reached out to him with support and love.
Friends wishing to remember Trevor, are encouraged to make a donation, in his memory, to Hope Mission in Calgary.
