Like so many others, the fires that have affected the Municipality of Jasper within Jasper National Park have been on my mind since the emergency began July 22.
In addition to everyone who is working directly on the ground battling these fires, I want to recognize and give kudos to the Parks Canada communications team.
The frequency, transparency, and level of detail provided in each update have been excellent.
To the individuals who worked on putting those communications together, and to whomever in upper management approved that level of information sharing – thank you.
