BANFF – Police are investigating a theft ring in Banff and seeking information from the public.
Staff Sgt. Mike Buxton-Carr, detachment commander for Banff RCMP, said they are looking into a series of thefts from retail businesses.
“The thefts involve a group of four or more people, with one person approaching employees to divert attention while others steal merchandise by concealing it under clothing,” he said.
“This group is known to steal expensive clothing items, and may target other retail products.”
