LETTER: If you feel the same way, I urge you to attend the scheduled public hearing on July 2 and make your voice known.

LETTER: Our Canmore property purchase was timely and, if we sell, rewarding. But assuming this year’s 16.3 per cent meteoric tax spike applies to all properties, it will increase rents for all non-owners as it is passed through and reduce disposable income for everyone. Higher interest rates and payments following mortgage renewals are certain.

LETTER: A Headline in The Guardian warns, “The stakes could not be higher’: 'World is on edge of climate abyss” and continues why the world’s top climate scientists are in despair. The Guardian asked nearly 400 top scientists what they felt about the future – reportedly they are terrified.

LETTER: I encourage all voters and taxpayers to watch for the referendum in August.

LETTER: The Bow Valley Parkway, this "great asset", must continue to be maintained as a shared roadway for all to enjoy.

LETTER: It’s appalling that Parks Canada restricts access to 17 kilometres of Highway 1A – one of the most scenic roadways in Banff National Park – for a small number of elitist cyclists.

LETTER: I really don’t think it’s the responsibility of the Alberta government or taxpayers to toilet train locals, let alone tourists.

LETTER: For the past few years, the Banff Avenue pedestrian zone has changed my desire to spend time in our downtown area – along with the Bear Street redevelopment.

LETTER: Liability is an important concept after loss occurs. We need council’s focus, the Town’s focus, to be on the prevention of the bad things.

LETTER: As a frequent contributor to the Rocky Mountain Outlook’s Vox Populi, I am always intrigued by comments posted by readers. All writers should enjoy any reaction from their readers.
